About What if... collection
A year ago, I asked myself a simple question: what if I created a holiday collection of art?
But instead of traditional festive scenes, my imagination wandered somewhere else.
That question, what if…?, became the heartbeat of this entire series my first-ever collection built entirely from original compositions.
What if dinosaurs (known herbivores) sat down to a grand holiday feast they’d never actually eat?
What if a snail traded its shell for a gingerbread house?
What if underwater creatures decorated their own festive worlds?
What if a frog became a snowman, embracing winter in all its frosty charm?
Every piece began with a spark of curiosity, a twist that made me laugh, wonder, and keep going. The name of the collection comes from that creative impulse, those tiny imaginative detours that turn the familiar into something delightfully strange.
This collection celebrates the magic of asking what if… and letting clever, whimsical storytelling take the lead. It’s holiday art seen through the lens of imagination, unexpected, humorous, and unmistakably Open Art Collective.
